Installed new defrost control-still not initiating defrost. according to goodman their heat pumps cannot be tested for defrost under warm conditions. defrost thermostat ok- normally closed opens on rise; does not cycle defrost on only drops it out. charge was 22 superheat added a small amount of freon and washed the outdoor coil. We replaced evaporator coil last year; the flare nut to the piston is leaking; it is snug but will not stop leaking. Will order new flare nut and Teflon o ring and return to install.
