Your HVAC system might be working overtime without you even realizing it—all because of tiny cracks and gaps in your ductwork. These hidden leaks can cause uneven temperatures, dusty indoor air, and energy bills that keep creeping upward. That’s where our duct sealing services come in. The team at R.S. Andrews tracks down inefficiencies and seals them with precision, helping your home stay comfortable year-round. Better airflow, healthier air, and a more efficient system start with attention to what’s behind the walls.

Signs Your Ducts Might Be Leaking

Even well-maintained HVAC systems can lose efficiency if the ductwork isn’t sealed properly. Leaks can develop over time and quietly chip away at comfort and performance. Spotting these warning signs early can help you avoid bigger issues.

  • Uneven temperatures between rooms: If some areas of your home are consistently warmer or cooler than others, leaky ducts could be diverting airflow.

  • Unexplained spikes in energy bills: Higher heating or cooling costs may be a result of conditioned air escaping before it ever reaches your vents.

  • Excessive dust or poor air quality: Leaks often pull in attic or crawl space air, introducing allergens, dirt, and contaminants into your living space.

  • Noisy vents or airflow problems: Whistling sounds, weak airflow, or pressure issues may point to gaps or disconnected duct joints.

  • Longer HVAC run times: If your system seems to run constantly, it might be working harder to compensate for air loss in the ductwork.

Schedule today! We’re ready to deliver expert service and a smile to your door.

Duct Sealing Services We Provide

Comprehensive Leak Detection

We begin with a detailed inspection of your duct system using advanced tools to locate even the smallest leaks. This step helps us identify problem areas often hidden behind walls, ceilings, or insulation.

Professional Duct Sealing

Using mastic sealant, metal tape, and proven sealing techniques, we patch and reinforce weak points throughout your ductwork. Our goal is to stop energy loss and restore strong, balanced airflow to every room.

Airflow Testing & Balancing

After sealing, we test your system’s performance to make sure airflow is evenly distributed. Balancing your system helps reduce strain on your HVAC and improves temperature consistency throughout the home.

Attic & Crawl Space Duct Insulation

If your ducts run through unconditioned areas, we recommend insulating them after sealing. This added layer prevents energy loss and keeps your system operating efficiently in every season.

Daniel came to our house after hours when we called him about a water leak in a toilet he worked on previously. Turned out the problem is not related to anything he did previously. He scheduled an appointment to replace the toilet tomorrow. Daniel has been to our house twice, and we trust him implicitly. Good employee. Toilet has been replaced. Good job!

Jonathan Chapman came to work on my garbage disposer that was not working and had my dishwasher backing up water. I decided to ask him to if a shower head that I had would work in my guest shower. Jonathan was also helping to train an apprentice. I kept hoping that I would not need to replace the garbage disposal. Jonathan cleared up the clog in my garbage disposal. replace the shower head. They checked my water heater and found that the water pressure was too high because we had added a piece on the water heater. He turned down the pressure and performed these 3 items for the price of the water heater. My husband has Parkinson and cannot do anything. Most helpful were the notes on having these items checked in the future.

New Service - 11/26/2025. After I started to replace a faucet yesterday and was unable to remove the old one (it was a booger!) James Roche Jr. came out to do the job. It turned out to be more involved than expected, but James got the old faucet out, put the new one in and replaced the p-trap. It took a while (including a trip to the store for parts), but he moved along well, got the job done, cleaned up and left. The price was fair and everything looks and works well. New service - 3/7/25. Our kitchen drain overflowed last night. Called RSA in the morning and they had Christopher Jones out before lunchtime. He snaked the line and recommended an enzyme-based drain cleaner. Friendly, professional and efficient. 2nd update: We elected to get a new tank. Zeek came out and removed the old tank before the work in our basement and retuned to install a new one. He worked quicly to install the new one and explained everything when he was done. A very good experience. Update: Zeek came out: We have to temporarily relocate our water heater for some work in our basement. He was professional, explained everything that needed to be done and checked several things. RS Andrews had previously installed a water heater, done some related plumbing upgrades and run a new supply from the water meter to the house and all has been good. They've also installed a new toilet that I bought. In addition to the toilet, the supply line from inside the wall had to be replaced. Today, we noticed water on the garage floor and called R.S. Andrews. Their guy Jaime was out quickly, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He also recommended a company to check for water damage and determine any additional work. Jaime was very professional and explained all he did plus some other work we should consider.
