R.S. Andrews provides plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services throughout Kennesaw and the surrounding Cobb County area. From neighborhoods near Kennesaw Mountain to communities closer to Kennesaw State University, service is available across the full area.

Kennesaw sits within the North Georgia Piedmont, where red clay soil, rolling terrain, and seasonal humidity shape how homes respond to the environment. These conditions vary across elevations, lot types, and levels of development, influencing how properties settle and manage moisture throughout the year.

Local Conditions Across Kennesaw Homes

The soil in Kennesaw is primarily Georgia red clay, which expands during periods of rainfall and contracts during dry heat. This movement affects the ground surrounding foundations and underground lines, particularly in areas with mature landscaping or older infrastructure.

Humidity is a consistent factor during the summer months, often remaining elevated into the evening. Combined with regional pollen levels and heat, this creates different indoor conditions depending on airflow, shade, and property layout.

Seasonal changes also bring temperature swings during the winter, with occasional cold snaps that contrast with otherwise mild conditions. These shifts affect how homes retain heat and respond to colder periods.

Storm activity is common across Cobb County, particularly during the warmer months. Afternoon thunderstorms can bring lightning, heavy rain, and brief power disruptions that vary by neighborhood.

How These Conditions Relate to Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical

Across Kennesaw, environmental factors influence how different parts of a home perform depending on location, age, and surrounding landscape. Homes near wooded areas, sloped lots, or older subdivisions often experience different patterns than newer developments.

  • Plumbing: Soil movement and root-heavy landscapes are common factors affecting underground lines across Kennesaw properties.

  • Air Conditioning: Extended heat, humidity, and seasonal pollen increase cooling demand, especially in homes with limited airflow or dense surrounding vegetation.

  • Heating: Winter temperature swings create varying heating patterns, particularly in homes with different insulation levels or exposure.

  • Electrical: Storm activity and a mix of construction eras contribute to different electrical usage patterns and demand across the area.

Serving All of Kennesaw

Kennesaw includes a wide range of home types, from established neighborhoods built during earlier suburban growth to newer communities with updated layouts. Differences in elevation, drainage, and tree coverage all contribute to how individual homes respond to the same environmental conditions.

Homes closer to Kennesaw Mountain or in more wooded areas often retain more moisture and shade, while properties in more open developments may experience greater sun exposure and heat retention. These variations shape how homes function across seasons throughout the area.

Kwame was very workmanlike and professional in his review of the issues with the furnace. He asked questions, then went about his work efficiently. He reported his findings to me at the end and asked if there were any other concerns. You cannot really ask for more. He did a great job.

HUGE shoutout to their plumber, Kyle! What initially seemed like a simple faucet leak turned into the discovery of massive water damage, and Kyle went above and beyond to help me navigate what happened next.

He explained everything in plain language, which I really appreciated, and recommended Archer Restoration to handle the mitigation and restoration. He even called them on my behalf, explained exactly what he had found, and made sure I had the necessary paperwork to send to my homeowners insurance claim adjuster.

Kyle was knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely helpful during what could have been a very stressful situation. Excellent customer service from start to finish! Thank you, Kyle!

I was very happy with David Rosati. Me and my family were very unhappy with our unit shutting down in the middle of the hottest time of the year. But I will say David Rosati made me feel a lot better. It's hard to trust techs of any kind, but I will say that I trust David Rosati! I'm was very happy with him.

While many others (7visits) focused on indoor issues, David started outdoors and quickly identified weaknesses in compressor power lines connections. He corrected them and the system is running smoothly 🤞
