How Often Should You Have Your Air Conditioner Serviced?

When it comes to HVAC equipment, it should be serviced annually at least twice a year. One time in the spring for your air conditioner, and one time in the fall for your furnaces. During these routine checkups what we do is we come in and we look at the equipment. We check all the components and make sure that whatever is worn out gets replaced. We also try and make sure that the equipment is running for peak performance and give you options for other things that we can do to help improve your system.

Throughout the year a home owner should also be changing filters at least once a month, sometimes twice a month depending on the environment side of the home as part of your routine maintenance, so a professional should be called out.
